The 4-star Limerick Strand Hotel is hosting a wedding masterclass Sunday, September 22, offering insight into all things wedding preparation, from makeup to menu to venue.

The wedding masterclass boasts host Sara Kennedy, award-winning creator of Irish Wedding Blog, digital marketer, and author of the Ultimate Wedding Planning Guide. However, before the talks even start, guests are given a glass of prosecco or a gin reception to enjoy. This warm welcome is followed by afternoon tea, prepared by multi-award-winning executive chef Tom Flavin.
The day’s guest speaker is the incomparable Ailbhe Garrihy, a PR guru who got engaged in December 2017. Since then, she has focused her attention on wedding planning, drawing from all corners of the universe for inspiration daily. Now well-versed in the ins and outs of the process, Garrihy is excited to share her knowledge and tips and tricks with couples and future brides.
Celebrating the trends of the season and allowing you to rub shoulders with some of Ireland’s best wedding professionals, our Wedding Masterclass 2019, gives couples and future brides access to everything about wedding preparation.
Fiona McNamara, FMN Makeup, will be providing the makeup demo of the day. McNamara has worked with such high profile clients as Celia Holman Lee and Suzanne Jackson (SoSueMe) and she specialises in bridal and media makeup artistry. She has also been recognised for her creativity and worked some of the biggest names in the Irish Fashion Industry, including The Wedding Journal.
Award-winning stylist Niall Colgan will help the brides-to-be in attendance to complete their looks with a bridal hair demo. With 33 years experience, Colgan’s passion and commitment are unmatched and unwavering. His salon is filled with personal touches and pieces encouraging relaxation, a touch he will bring with him to his demo.
The Limerick Strand is a spectacular wedding venue and attending this masterclass provides engaged couples with the perfect opportunity to see how the 4-star venue suits their needs. Tickets include an optional tour of the new Bridal Suite and rooftop drinks reception City View suite. Additionally, all brides-to-be that attend the event will receive an exclusive €1000 off any Strand wedding packages booked by Thursday, October 31, 2019, for weddings with a minimum of 120 guests and for selected dates in 2020 and 2021.
