In 2013 the mother of nine was diagnosed with cervical cancer, through determination and her family’s support Angela never stopped fighting. In 2014 she fought a heart attack and came out a winner.

Despite all her troubles Angela always smiles through her problems and is loved and cherished by her family and friends.

Angela grew up with her two sisters and two brothers, who love her dearly. “She is an absolutely brilliant mother and an equally wonderful grandmother to 10 grandchildren and is well-liked among her community,” Mary Hughes, Angela’s sister said. “Her daughter is getting married in March and family means everything to her.”

Fondly known as Bella, Angela recently received heartbreaking news. Her loving friends and family wished to do something special for this wonderful woman.

Angela is one of five siblings and is loved greatly by her friends and community.

Angela has never been on a foreign holiday so her family and friends decided to hold a fundraiser to make Angela’s wish come true. They wish to send Angela on her dream holiday.

Located on the Mediterranean coast Angela’s friends and family seek to send her to Benidorm. Angela has her heart set on this beautiful location.

The fundraiser will take place on Sunday, December 9 at the Grove Gastro Pub in Corbally. There will be live music from 6 pm by the Busker, Geraldine, Andy Rhodes, John Solo, DJ Brian, and entertainment from magician Leon Andersen.

Finger food will be served on the night. Tickets are priced at €10 and support tickets are priced at €5. Local businesses shall also support the family by giving away spot prizes. Everyone is welcome to this night of love and merriment, Angela’s family and friends would love to see everyone there.

For more details about passes contact her daughter Laura Hughes at 0857441219.
