Limerick Youth Dance, run by Dance Limerick, will begin its new term on Wednesday April 15 with an open session for new members at Dance Limerick Studio, John’s Square, Limerick. Limerick Youth Dance is an ensemble of young people aged 15-25 years interested in developing as dancers, performing on stage and screen and meeting other like-minded young people. The open session is a great opportunity for any young person interested in giving dance a go.  All are welcome. This session is free and will run from 6pm-8pm

Limerick Youth Dance meets every Wednesday from 6pm-8pm at the Dance Limerick Studio, John’s Square. Joining Limerick Youth Dance means making a commitment to be part of a dance ensemble – a group of people dedicated to dance projects, participating in weekly workshops and meeting other young dancers. Limerick Youth Dance have been very active in the past year, creating and presenting performances with Fidget Feet Aerial Dance Theatre, students from the Irish World Academy of Music and Dance at UL and producer/composer NUBUS. They were also part of the hugely successful Culture Night celebration at John’s Square with Music Generation, Limerick Youth Theatre and Scoil Uí Ruairc Irish Dancing School.
