Limerick Zine Fest (LZF), a new festival dedicated to the vibrant world of DIY culture and independent publishing, kicks off its second edition this April 30-May 4. Founded by Caoilfhinn Geary, Tiffany Glenn, and Daithí Mac Cruitín, the festival brings together zinesters, small presses, and indie publishers for five days of creative community events — all completely free to attend!

“Limerick Zine Fest is about art, community, making friends, and creating a safe, accessible space for people to express their art, ideas, and interests–zine maker or not. Limerick Zine Fest is about bringing art into the community in an accessible way for all to enjoy, which was fundamental to our choice of venues which are all community hubs,” said Caoilfhinn Geary, co-producer LZF.

The festival features a rich program including a two-day Zine Makers Market, hands-on workshops, a panel discussion with artists, and an open makers session. With events hosted in iconic Limerick locations like Crew Brewing Co., Starling, St. John’s Pavilion, and Spacecraft Studios, Limerick Zine Fest promises an immersive experience for artists, writers, readers, and curious newcomers alike.
