Enable Ireland provides free services to adults with disabilities and their families from their centre in Quinns Cross, Mungret. They work in partnership with those who use their services to achieve maximum independence, choice and inclusion in their communities. Enable Ireland focuses on the person, not the disability. They believe that access, inclusion and equality are basic rights for all people and assert that society must recognise and accommodate individual needs.

Speaking to the producer of the event Killian Fitzgerald, he explained how he had been involved in fundraising events for Enable Ireland in the past, “I enjoy the excitement that the service users get out of the entertainment that is created as a result of the fundraising initiatives”.

Last year Killian organised a “Stars in Their Eyes” event to raise funds for Enable Ireland. It was a success and provided much entertainment to contestants and spectators alike, including those who use the much needed facilities provided by Enable Ireland.

Killian hopes Limericks Got Talent continues to be the huge success it has been for the last 8 years and that it is supported by the people of Limerick City. As his first year as producer of the event Killian is excited, “to see how my vision of Limericks Got Talent comes to life”.

Limericks Got Talent 2016 contest promises to be bigger and better than ever this year, there will be an array of talented performers excited to put on a tremendous show befitting Limerick’s legacy for talented entertainers.

Contestants can now apply to enter via email [email protected].
