Peter brings a fresh and humorous perspective to the show. Armed with a microphone, a sharp wit, and an endless supply of questions, he represents the everyday listener—curious, sceptical, and always eager to uncover an unexpected twist in Limerick’s history.

In Limerick’s Life Podcast, Sharon unearths tales of sieges, legendary figures, and ghostly legends, while Peter poses the questions listeners have always wondered about—like whether Vikings ever got lost on the Shannon or if medieval Limerick had decent pubs. The podcast aims to make history accessible and engaging, inviting listeners to explore the county’s past in a lively and entertaining format.

“We want to make history accessible, fun, and a little unexpected,” says Sharon. “Limerick’s past is packed with incredible stories, and this podcast is all about sharing them in a way that everyone can enjoy.”

Peter, with his signature humour, adds, “I have no credentials, no historical knowledge… but I do have a microphone and a lot of questions. And if there’s a biscuit-related uprising in Limerick’s past, I intend to find out about it.”

Whether you’re a lifelong Limerick resident or just discovering the county’s rich history, Limerick’s Life Podcast promises captivating stories, lively discussions, and a few surprises along the way. Join Sharon and Peter as they explore the past, one tale at a time.
