This is the 7th year that listeners of Limericks Live 95FM have raised funds for the Children’s Ark Unit at the University Hospital Limerick including the Neo Natal Unit and CARI Limerick. It brings the total raised by the 95 Stop Tour for Limerick Kids to over €400,000.
The Limericks Live 95FM Stop Tour 2016 for Limerick kids features a brand new fundraiser ‘A Night at the Dogs’ on Friday, September 16th at Limerick Greyhound Stadium.
“Limerick’s Live 95FM are delighted to be involved with these fantastic causes and to help in raising vital funds again this year. We are thanking the listeners of Live 95FM for their support over the years. We simply would not have been able to raise this amount of money without them,” said Nicola Quinn, 95 Stop Tour 2016 Co-ordinator.
The night will feature the usual 12 races and a special “Human Race” which will feature representatives of shows from across the daily schedule of Limerick’s Live 95FM.
John McCarthy, Sales, Commercial & Operations Manager at Limerick Greyhound Stadium, commented, “Limerick Greyhound Stadium is synonymous with fundraising in the region, and therefore we are delighted to be able to offer our venue as the launch-pad for this year’s programme. There will be a monster raffle on the night. With 3 top quality prizes on offer.
While on the night Live 95fm’s JP Dillon will broadcast live from the stadium and entertainment will be provided after racing until late!!
General tickets are €10 this includes admission and a racecard (subject to availability). While Premium tickets are €50 this includes admission, race cards, 4 course meal, table service for bar and tote and a table in the panoramic restaurant overlooking the race track (subject to availability).
