The event will consist of a 2-hour interactive comedy hypnosis show performed by professional hypnotist Michael McCoy who has two decades of experience.

As we all unfortunately know, suicide is a serious issue in Limerick recently and because of this, the LIT event management students have agreed with Michael to include a segment about mental health and the ‘power of the mind’ before the hypnosis show. From the money raised, any profits made will be donated to the Limerick Suicide Watch who are a group of volunteers who patrol the seven bridges of Limerick City helping those in distress or who maybe feeling suicidal.

Research shows that these types of hypnotist shows have been very popular in the past in colleges around Ireland. A raffle will be held on the night also as another means to raise money for Limerick Suicide Watch, with a variety of sponsored prizes up for grabs from brands such a ‘Walker and Hunt’, etc.

The event is being proudly sponsored by UBER and there will also be a photographer on the day taking pictures that will be posted on the event social media pages after the event.

Tickets are on sale on the street in LIT and via EventBrite.
