The Live 95 website explains: “Recent years have been financially difficult for many. However your generosity has still managed to raise over 1/4 million euro for our Limerick Kids. Your donations has helped both The Ark Unit services at the University of Limerick Hospital, and the Neonatal Unit for new born babies on the Ennis Road.Your money has also helped CARI to remain open in Limerick (the only office now outside of Dublin). CARI help children who have been affected by sexual abuse. This September, we are on the road again in the hope of raising more much needed money for Limerick Kids. We will be stopping at a location near you. Please try and give us whatever you can afford. This year, for the second year running, your donations will also be helping the Neonatal Unit for new born babies on the Ennis Road. We hit the road September 21st – Watch out for us. Live 95FM take no money whatsoever for admin fees, expenses or wages from your donations. Everything we collect from your donations goes directly to the charities.”
