Live 95 has also revamped its annual charity drive for 2019, under the banner ‘Live 95 Helping Limerick Children 2019’, with this year’s beneficiaries being long-time partners CARI Limerick; Cliona’s and for the first time, the Limerick-based ‘Children’s Grief Centre’.

A number of key events, along with smaller fundraisers, will take place in the coming months, with the money raised to be shared equally among these three great causes, which all enormously help ill and vulnerable Limerick children. Other initiatives they are supporting include the annual Limerick Going for Gold and the Cook Medical Women’s Mini Marathon.

Joe Nash, Live 95’s Station Director, said, “The power of radio really is amazing with over 80% of Limerick listeners tuning into a radio station every day of the week. At Live 95, we’re delighted to play our part in contributing to the radio that local listeners enjoy and we’re grateful that so many find a home with their local station. We’ve a really dedicated team here who work incredibly hard to deliver the best service to listeners and advertisers and I want to thank them for their dedication and commitment to the radio station.”

“There is so much positivity in Limerick at the moment and we’re delighted at Live 95 to reflect and take part in it all. We’ve had the announcement of the Ryder Cup coming to Adare Manor, the local economy starting to motor, including numerous jobs announcements, the Limerick hurlers crowned National League and Munster champions, despite the pain of defeat to Kilkenny at the weekend and so much more. We’re celebrating all that Limerick success with lots of giveaways on our shows, from Breakfast to late night and we’ve much more to come for the rest of 2019 so stay tuned or check us out at live95.ie“, he added.

‘Live 95 – Limerick’s best music mix’ has maintained its market-leading position among listeners in the City and County, in the latest Ipsos/MRBI JNLR official radio listenership figures, covering the 12 months to July 2019.

The just-published results show that Live 95 has almost 100,000 listeners tuning-in every week, which equates to over 60% of the people of Limerick. This result follows the launch of the station’s new logo which has been given a warm welcome by listeners and advertisers, who continue to loyally support the radio station.

Live 95 also has an average of 800 thousand page views a month and thousands of followers and likes on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook.
