Hermitage Green release special EP Live at The Curragower

Limericks very own Hermitage Green have released a special five track EP entitled ‘Live at The Curragower’ this Friday, October 21.

The bands EP is available to download on both Spotify and iTunes and recollects a time where the band used to play back in the early days in the hugely popular Limerick pub, The Curragower .

Live at The Curragower will include some new material but also old classics such as Jenny and Quicksand.

The band recount their days spent at The lovely Curragower over the years, whether it be enjoying a pint with friends or going in on a Sunday morning for a bite to eat to cure them of the night  before.

They continued to express how The Curragower was that haven to give the band a boost for when they first started out as a band.

The Limerick lads expressed how The Curragower will always mean something to them and what better way to show gratitude then to title what is sure to be an unbelievable EP in their honour?

The band released their debut studio album ‘Save Your Soul’ back in March which rightfully rose to a ranking of number three in the Irish Albums Chart.

The bands unique arrangement of instruments that includes the bodhrán, djembe, rhythmic guitar and banjo sets them apart as a truly original offering of Irish Music. They have already played alongside the likes of Gavin James, Josh Ritter, Walking On Cars and The Pogues and 2016 will see them bring their music to many, many more

These four remarkable men are just warming up for their successful careers to come with a date at Dublin’s Olympia theatre this November 4 with Limerick behind them every step of the way.
