Fashionistas with a social conscience can look the business for a good cause when Limerick’s Women’s Business Network hosts the first ever #LookTheBiz style-focused networking event, in the city later this month.

A morning of fashion and interactive networking for working women will take place in Castletroy Park Hotel on 24th June 9.30 am – 11am. #LookTheBiz will deliver helpful tips and advice on smart work wear, together with a Summer style masterclass with designer and recent Xpose TV star Marion Murphy Cooney.

Marion will talk style, design and fashionable dress for all tastes and budgets, offering participants ways to be effortlessly elegant in stylish separates, business classics and appropriate accessories.

#LookTheBiz is being staged as a charity event to support the activities of Irish development agency Self Help Africa with working women in sub-Saharan Africa. “Up to 75% of people in rural Africa rely on farming for their survival, and most of the people who do that work are women,” says event organiser Gaye Moore of Self Help Africa. “Helping rural farming communities to grow more and earn more is the key to ending poverty and suffering for millions -evidence shows that support for women on the land will increase food production by up to 20%” she added.

#LookTheBiz will also include presentations of eyewear and stylish sunglasses provided by Vision 2 Opticians, and jewellery and accessories from Ryan’s Jewellers.
