By ilovelimerick correspondent Frances Watkins

Macra na Feirme will host their annual 24 hours Macra na Feirme Sleep Out 2017 out on Saturday, December 16th on O’Connell Street, Limerick. The Macra na Feirme Sleep Out 2017 will kick off at 8 am outside AIB with all proceeds going to Mid West Simon Community. The generosity of the people of Limerick has been evident in past years, with people coming up to the sleepers, not only giving money but a word of encouragement and support to the group.

Last year, Mid West Simon ambassador and Munster hooker, Duncan Casey joined the sleepers. If you would like to get involved, Mid West Simon is looking for bucket collectors on Saturday 16th between 9 am & 1 pm on O’Connell Street, Patrick Street and the Milkmarket in Limerick. Even an hour of your time can make a huge difference.
