From the producers of A Viennese Strauss Gala comes Magical Mozart By Candlelight – a sumptuous, fully costumed show that immerses an audience in the wonderful music and the classical baroque world of one of the world’s greatest romantic composers – Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart!

The Austrian composer created a string of operas, concertos, symphonies and sonatas that profoundly shaped classical music. This work will be showcased at the University Concert Hall, Limerick on November 23 from 8pm, with tickets starting from €25.

With beautiful settings, costumes, lighting, and of course candles, the European Baroque Ensemble and world class opera singers transport you back to the sumptuous past.

Expect a full programme of much-loved classical music and song, which includes excerpts from the most memorable of Mozart’s operas, such as The Magic Flute, The Marriage of Figaro, Cosi Fan Tutte and many more.

Mozart’s most popular and famous operas are all beautifully sung by world-class soloists who, together with the ensemble, perform some of his most memorable pieces of music, including Symphony no. 40, Lacrimosa (Requiem D minor) and Eine Kleine Nacht Musik.

A magical evening of classic Mozart Masterpieces!

“A Sublime evening…Magical, it certainly was!” (Jersey Evening Post)
