At the Marianne Lynch Network Ireland Limerick, networking event in the Savoy hotel was Network Ireland Limerick President, Louise Lawlor, Blink Design, Gillian Horan, The Pudding branding agency, Ann Morris, Skillnet and Edwina Gore, Gore Communications.

Network Ireland Limerick, supported by the LEO and Savoy Hotel, is a progressive, dynamic organization supporting the professional and personal development of women. It provides a forum for women in business and the arts to network, exchange ideas and to increase their business contacts at monthly networking events. All businesswomen, both self-employed and employees, are welcome to join Network Limerick.

Network Ireland Limerick is a branch of Network Ireland – a non-profit, voluntary organization with over 500 members which is supported by AIB and Vodafone.

Over 40 people attended the Network Ireland Limerick “Minding You” event on Wednesday 9 November at the Savoy Hotel, Limerick to learn mindfulness and breathing techniques that help combat stress and burnout. Marianne Lynch, a Psychotherapist, Mindfulness teacher and Coach, spoke about the importance of self-care in an increasingly busy world and shared techniques and simple tools that are easy to incorporate into the busiest of lives. 

Marianne Lynch is a Psychotherapist, Mindfulness teacher and Coach. She has been working in the area of education and development for over 20 years. Marianne has a clinical practice in Limerick City and also delivers mindfulness-based training to business, schools and community organizations nationwide. 

Beforehand, Eleanor Purcell of Cahill’s provided a tea-tasting session and talked about wellness teas and why the ancient ritual of tea-making can almost be a meditative experience that people are beginning to embrace once more.

Louise Lawlor, President of Network Ireland Limerick said, “This was an extremely successful event with excellent feedback from attendees.  It just shows that so many people are looking for ways to help deal with the frantic pace and demands of life.”

The final network Ireland event for 2017 will take place on Wednesday 14th December.
