Network Ireland Limerick Event Minding You with Marianne Lynch

Techniques to combat stress and burnout will be shared at the Network Ireland Limerick event on Wednesday, November 9 at 6pm in the Savoy Hotel, Limerick. Marianne Lynch, a Psychotherapist, Mindfulness teacher and Coach, will be speaking to participants about the importance of self-care in an increasingly busy world.

With the growth of social media and the growing demands of our personal and work life, many people find it hard to slow down long enough to understand their own needs and attend to them. Marianne Lynch will be introducing techniques from mindfulness and CBT to give participants simple tools that they can use to build a more nurturing and caring relationship with themselves and to prevent stress and burnout. These simple tools and practices are easy to incorporate into the busiest of lives and can serve a stable platform from which we can live in a more balanced and authentic way.

Louise Lawlor, President of Network Ireland Limerick said, “Throughout the year we’ve been focusing on our theme of ‘Fuelling Ambition’ – setting our members up to strive for more success.  However, so many people are working in an ‘always on’ mode which isn’t sustainable.  That’s why our event is focused on “Minding You”.  As we approach the end of the year, it’s time to take stock, check in with how we’re doing and see what positive habits we can create to support us in our daily lives so we avoid burnout.”

There will also be tea tasting session with Eleanor Purcell, proprietor of Cahill’s on Wickham Street who are stockists of a wide selection of loose tea from organic plantations around the world. Attendees will enjoy samples of top quality green and fruit infused teas that are renowned for their health benefits and find out why the ritual of making and drinking tea can almost be a meditative experience that people are beginning to embrace once again.
