Following on from her sell-out tour earlier this year, Mary Black announces she’s going on the road again in Ireland from January 8, 2016 with a nation-wide tour which comes to a grand finale in Limerick on February 27, 2016.

The Mary Black 13 county Irish Tour includes some great venues around the country which she missed out on in 2015 and ends on a high note at the Lime Tree Arts Centre on Saturday night, February 27.

Following the launch of her autobiography “Down the Crooked Road” and the “Soundtrack” CD and due to popular demand, Mary Black has finalised the dates and venues for another tour which extends to the four corners of the country and sees her doing what she loves most –  performing to a live audience.

The Limerick gig was one of the fastest selling on the tour last time and given that it’s the final concert on the 2016 Irish Tour, it is set to be a fitting finale and sell out in record time.

“We can’t wait to get back to Limerick. This is a great venue. The crowd went nuts the last time we were there, as they do in Dublin. This is a beautiful theatre and we’re excited about coming back,” Mary said.

“The tour at the start of this year was great fun and the reaction was simply incredible,” Mary explained.  “I can’t wait to get back out on the road with the band, and get on stage singing the songs that people love and want to sing with me. That sort of reaction is great and makes you want to perform more and meet great people afterwards and that is exactly why we are doing with this Irish Tour.”

Starting on January 8th in the Black Box Theatre in Galway and with the same great band of Bill Shanley, Pat Crowley, Nick Scott and Richie Buckley, the Mary Black 2016 Tour goes nationwide to include concerts in Dublin, Belfast, Sligo, Armagh, Cork, Cavan, Clonmel, Tullamore, Tralee, Limerick, Wicklow and Kilkenny.

Tickets for what promises to be a sell-out are on sale now from the Lime Tree Theatre and Ticketmaster
