The B Ed. (Education and Psychology), a highly sought-after programme and the only one of its type in Ireland that attracts applicants from across the country, has seen a rise of 10 points to 560. Such is the popularity of this programme that the cut-off points (560) significantly exceed those for any other psychology or teaching programme in Ireland.

The BA in Liberal Arts, which is experiencing continued growth in popularity, is up by 10 points (to 335) and the BA in Early Childhood Care and Education remains the same as last year at 360 points.

The Vice-President Academic Affairs of the College, Professor Eugene Wall, said, “We are very pleased that a growing number of students have selected Mary Immaculate College as their first college of choice.  We are also proud of the number of students with outstanding results who have been attracted to study with us.  This is a tribute to the excellence of our programmes of study, as well as recognition of the caring and supportive environment which we provide for our students.
