The wonderfully talented and internationally recognised designer Maureen Harrison has designed a limited edition jewellery piece exclusively for Rape Crisis Midwest. Maureen Harrison lives & works in Co. Clare, Ireland. She has been designing and making her Seoidín Jewellery range since opening in 1996. Seoidín Jewellery is all hand-made with gold, silver, gold fill and semi-precious stones.

Each piece is unique and designed especially for you. Seoidín Retail Jewellers are located in Ennis, Limerick and Dublin and also online at Seoidin.com. Maureen started Seoidín as a small shop in April 1996. When designing, Maureen considers all styles and type of women. That is why she has over 3000 various designs. As Maureen herself says “When a person gets a piece of good jewellery as a present, that piece is to last a lifetime, for the sentimental value of it if nothing else. So my designs really are different, good quality, classic and attractive”

Maureen currently has three Seoidín stores based in Clare, Limerick and Dublin. Rape Crisis Midwest is absolutely delighted that Maureen has chosen to design a sterling silver limited piece exclusively for their organisation. All profits from the sales of this beautiful neck piece will go directly to Rape Crisis Midwest. Rape Crisis Midwest is a regional organisation serving Limerick, Clare and Tipperary.

The organisation provides support and counselling to men and women who were sexually abused as children or recently raped/sexually assaulted. In addition, there is also the provision of Garda and Court accompaniment as well as training and education programmes.

Preceding the November 12 sale, a launch was held on Friday, October 28 in the Limerick store by Limerick`s very own Celia Holman Lee.
