Limerick man Brian Conran has organised a Memorial Golf Classic in memory of his late wife Siobhan, in aid of Limerick Suicide Watch.

The Memorial Golf Classic will take place on Friday, May 13 at Limerick Golf Club, Ballyclough.

The cost of entry for the charity fundraiser is €250 per team, with all funds raised going to Limerick Suicide Watch.

The registration cost will also include a meal and refreshments on the 9th hole.

Players have the option to sponsor a tee box for €50, sponsor a prize that is raffled off on the night, or, simply donate to Limerick Suicide Watch on the day.

Donations to Limerick Suicide Watch allow them to fund vital equipment, training, insurance, and maintenance of their base. The charity’s main focus is to keep a close eye on the river and provide support to those in distress and at risk of suicide.

Limerick Suicide Watch has grown immensely since it was established in May 2016 and will continue to grow thanks to kind donations from the public.

People interested in forming a team and participating in the golf event can do so by contacting Brian Conran at 086 859 3856.

There has already been a huge amount of positive feedback in regards to the event so there is no doubt that it will be an excellent day out. It is a great opportunity to get out and enjoy some golf while also supporting a very well-deserving cause.

“A huge thank you to Brian for choosing Limerick Suicide Watch as the beneficiary for this fantastic event in memory of Siobhan,” the charity commented.
