MyMind believes that early intervention is the most effective way to prevent mental health issues such as depression, anxiety and stress from turning into severe problems. By providing fast and easy access to services in the community, MyMind is enabling people to access supports for mental health problems early on.

MyMind has impacted on more than 20,000 lives in Ireland to date. Demand for an accessible service has seen appointments provided by MyMind grow nationally by 14% between 2014 and 2015, In 2015 alone, MyMind provided 13,996 appointments and served 1,874 clients in Dublin, Limerick and Cork.

MyMind CEO and Founder Krystian Fikert said, “I set up MyMind a decade ago to break down the barriers to mental wellbeing such as cost, waiting times and language.

“Over the last 10 years, the work we’ve done has been driven by a belief that everyone should have easy access to mental health services when they need them, no matter where they’re living in Ireland.

“In this time, we have worked tirelessly to make lives and communities better and to help our clients live happy and fulfilled lives.  We will continue this work over the next decade and beyond.

“I want to thank all of our supporters and friends, but most importantly, our clients, for entrusting us to help them in their journey to mental wellbeing. I want to urge anyone who feels as if they are struggling with their mental health to get in touch with us today. We’re here to help.”

Ardmhéara/Lord Mayor of Dublin Críona Ní Dhálaigh said, “Mental health affects us all. You might be feeling low or lonely. You might be stressed at work or experiencing panic attacks at college. You might have a friend or partner, family member or colleague, who has been struggling for a while and yet doesn’t know where to turn for help.

“You’re not alone. If this is the case, please talk about it. Get in touch with the team at MyMind, talk to someone you can trust, and never be ashamed or embarrassed about how you’re feeling.”
