Mary Immaculate College (MIC) announce its October Open Days for Limerick and Thurles at the MIC Limerick campus on Thursday and Friday, October 16 & 17
If you are thinking about studying at Mary Immaculate College (MIC) Limerick or Thurles next year, here’s your chance to find out more at the MIC Limerick Open Days on Thursday, 16 October (9am-2pm) and Friday, 17 October (9am-1pm), with booking open online.

On the October Open Days there will be Live Programme Talks: College experts will deliver engaging presentations on each programme at multiple times each day, giving you the chance to discover the unique aspects of MIC’s programmes.
Access to programme talks in TN 1 and TN 2 will close once capacity is reached. However, several sessions of each programme talk will be held throughout the day to ensure everyone has the opportunity to attend.
There will also be rolling tours will be led by current MIC students, who will share their experiences of college life and answer any questions you may have.
On the day, a wide range of stands will provide guidance on programmes, access routes, disability support, fees and grants, scholarships, work placement, Erasmus opportunities, clubs and societies, and more.
“Seeing the campus in person really opened my eyes—I didn’t realise how much there was on offer”, said one student. A parent remarked, “From the moment we arrived, people went out of their way to be helpful. My daughter came away with such a positive impression”. A guidance counsellor commented, “The information stands were excellent. Staff were prepared, approachable and had clear answers to every question the students had.”
For those considering a career in Post-Primary Teaching, the MIC Thurles Open Day will take place on Saturday, 8 November (10am-1pm).
