Liam O’Brien ‘following the dream’ to sing with Michael Bublé in Limerick
Limerick crooner, Liam O’Brien, has put forward his name to follow his dream of supporting Michael Bublé at Thomond Stadium

Limerick is set for a smooth, sophisticated summer evening as Michael Bublé brings his world-class live show to Thomond Park Stadium on Sunday, 28 June 2026.
Following the announcement of the Thomond Park Stadium gig, “lifelong Limerick crooner” Liam O’Brien has put his positive thoughts into the universe to try and join Michael Bublé at the gig.
Liam took to social media to say, “Just heard that none other than Michael Bublé is coming to Thomond Park Stadium next summer. As a lifelong Limerick crooner who has been serenading this city since Brown Thomas was Todds… I feel it’s only right I throw my fedora in the ring to guest with him and his band.
“Nothing mad – just a local lad helping the man himself feel at home. You bring the band Michael, I’ll bring the Chicken Hut. If you’d love to see a local voice up there, let me know in the comments or hit the like. Genuinely cos, THIS would be an actual ‘dream come true’.”

The multi-Grammy Award winner, known for his velvety vocals, timeless charisma, and effortless stage presence, will perform an outdoor Irish date that promises to be one of the standout concerts of Summer 2026.
Whether it’s the swing of Feeling Good, the sentiment of Home, or the energy of Haven’t Met You Yet, Bublé’s live performances are renowned for their warmth, humour, and unforgettable musicality.
Known for his spectacular live productions, Bublé brings a full orchestral experience to the stage, blending jazz classics, modern favourites, and his signature charm. His concerts have sold out arenas and stadiums across the globe, and his return to Ireland in 2026 is expected to draw fans from far and wide.
With tickets on sale now, the Thomond Park date will offer a rare chance to see one of the world’s most beloved performers under the summer sky — a perfect night out for long-time fans and newcomers alike.
