Limerick Chamber announces the appointment of Michelle Gallagher as its new Chief Executive Officer
Michelle brings over 20 years of extensive experience in driving strategic growth, innovation, and global brand expansion across multiple sectors, including MedTech, Life Sciences, Consumer Electronics, and Aviation.
Michelle distinguished career includes senior leadership roles in multinational corporations, startups, and SMEs, where she has consistently delivered results through strategic initiatives and digital transformation. Her expertise in both B2B and B2C markets and her ability to expand global brand presence across Ireland, the UK, EMEA, and international markets positions her as an ideal leader to guide Limerick Chamber into the future.
Michelle, a proud Limerick native, holds a degree in Visual Communications from the Limerick School of Art and Design (TUS), a master’s degree in interactive media, and an Executive MBA with First Class Honours from the University of Limerick. These academic credentials underpin her innovative approach to business and strategic thinking.
Deeply invested in the growth and development of the region, Michelle is actively involved in community, sporting, and voluntary sectors. As President of the MBA Association of Ireland, she has overseen operations and organized events that contribute to the professional development of over 2,000 C-suite and executive members across the country.
