Milford Hospice Harvest Fair

 

Milford_Hospice_Fair_2013_22Limerick FC came onside with plans for the premier league soccer players to feature in a penalty shoot competition at this year’s Milford Hospice Harvest Fair at the UL Sports Arena and they mingled with the huge crowds in the Arena grounds. Milford Hospice is the designated provider of specialised palliative care for Limerick, Clare and North Tipperary and this is their main fundraiser. The UL Arena was an ideal venue for the Harvest Fair as the indoor and outdoor facilities weatherproofed the event. The fundraiser opened to the public at 11am on Sunday, September 1, and continued until 4pm. While the kids were occupied, adults found plenty to interest them with an impressive array of stalls with clothes, shoes, books, cakes and the Wheel of Fortune.
