Green Ribbon Event at The Milk Market by Limerick Mental Health Awareness.

Limerick Mental Health Awareness is holding a Green Ribbon Event on Sunday May 29 in Limerick Milk Market, with information stalls, music and children’s entertainment. It is so important to promote open conversation of mental health and challenging the stigma of mental health problems. Good news this year is that the Green Ribbon Event and Africa Day will be together at the Milk Market.  Alone we can do little, together we can do so much.

In May see change, the National Stigma Reduction Partnership is rolling out a month long national green ribbon campaign to get people talking openly about mental health problems. As part of the Green Ribbon Campaign over 500,000 green ribbons will be distributed nationwide free of charge to spark a national conversation about mental health. The aim is to make the month of May every year synonymous with promoting open conversation of mental health and challenging the stigma of mental health problems.
