Mind ur Health Exhibition 2016

The Mind ur Health Exhibition 2016 will take place on Sunday March 13 from 12 – 6pm at the Strand Hotel, Limerick.  The Holistic Centre of Excellence will co-ordiante the event as part of their extensive Outreach Program. Live 95fm are the main sponsors and all proceeds will go to Limerick Children Charities. JP Dillon of Live 95fm will be MC on the day.

The purpose of this exhibition is to provide the general public with a unique opportunity to access information relating to maintaining Health, with a particular emphasis on Mental Health – although not exclusively.

The topic of promoting positive mental health has become an increasing concern in society transcending all age categories, social classes and demographic profiles.

This event will enable the general public and potential volunteers to access information, services and therapies available in the Limerick area, to assist in the care of their health with specific focus on mental health.

Mind ur Health Expo is a testimony to the huge grassroots move to self-empowerment in terms of health and well-being.

In Ireland people have a sickness-based Health Service that does not educate or empower people to be responsible for their own health, but waits until they get ill before it kicks in.  Japan is the Number One country in Health Care and they have a wellness or health based Health Service.

The model of Healthcare that Holistic Centre of Excellence is advocating is being avidly sought after by all sectors of the community including the Business Community, is the silent revolution that’s going on – saving lives, saving money and sparking energy & vitality in the drivers of our economy – the People. The Holistic Centre of Excellence will sponsor the event as part of their extensive Outreach Program.

The pre-requisite for Exhibitors is that they are passionate about helping people to improve their lives.

 

This event is suitable for anyone who wishes to simply experience more Joy and Happiness in their lives, right up the scale to those who have been suffering with a stress-related illness for many years.

Our International speakers will be sharing their expertise via the FREE Lectures that will run throughout the day.

 

The exhibition will have 30 exhibitors, including,

  • Holistic Therapies/Therapists covering a large range of Complimentary & Alternative Medicine

  • Medical Practitioners

There will be free public lectures/ workshops running throughout the day, with experts speaking on topics such as

  • Effects of Hormones on Mental Health
  • Understanding Panic Attacks/Anxiety
  • Depression- A spiritual illness?
  • Experience Relief from burdens and stress
  • Looking after Your Mental Health
