The event took place on 28th January at The Strand Hotel, Limerick, and was warmly received by attendees. During the discussion, Miriam spoke openly about her journey to empowerment, sharing insights into the challenges and personal experiences that have shaped her career. She also referenced her best selling book, Life, Work, Everything, which reflects on these themes.

Barbara MacCarthy’s presidential theme for 2026 is “Lead The Way”.

“‘Lead The Way’ is about connection, inclusion, and breaking down barriers for women in the workplace. We are proud to begin the year by welcoming Miriam O’Callaghan, whose leadership and commitment to amplifying women’s voices strongly reflects the values of Network Ireland Limerick,” said Barbara MacCarthy, President, Network Ireland Limerick.

Barbara also thanked attendees for their support and expressed her enthusiasm for the year ahead, noting her commitment to supporting members in their leadership journeys across business, community, and home life.
