LEO Limerick and retail expert Miriam Simon set to host a Limerick Retail Development Workshop to support local retailers

The Local Enterprise Office (LEO) Limerick will be joined by one of Ireland’s leading business advisors, Miriam Simon, to host a special Limerick Retail Development Workshop which aims to support local retailers.

Miriam Simon, an experienced retail strategist and founder of pto.ie will lead the in-person event, offering her expertise on a range of important topics tailored to the retail sector. The workshop is set to take place on Monday, October 14th, from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM at The ENGINE, Upper Cecil Street, Limerick.

Miriam is an innovative, creative, and accomplished leader in industry and is an expert speaker on strategic growth, consumer behaviour, and future trends. The retail expert has “walked the walk” having worked with household names such as TKMaxx, Monsoon, Accessorise, B&Q, and LifeStyleSports.

Miriam has also spent the last decade mentoring start-ups in disruptive technology and med-tech sectors. Her experience and expertise are now available to business leaders across Ireland as she regularly delivers commercial seminars, training programs and executive coaching, and her proven ability to translate complex business strategies into practical, actionable plans will be a key feature of the evening.

The 2.5 hour in-person workshop will cover many important topics for the retail industry including Commercial trading tips and practical tools to help with prep for Peak; Consumer psychology/ behaviour and trends; and Gifting strategies and Trading levers.

Participants will also receive a trading plan workbook, which will help guide them through much of their planning for the upcoming retail season. To further support attendees, Miriam is offering a complimentary one-on-one mentoring session to the first 10 clients who register for the event.

Light refreshments will be available during the event which promises to be an invaluable resource for retailers looking to plan ahead for the upcoming peak trading season.
