Molli-Ann O’Halloran, former Limerick Rose, is appealing to the public to support her fundraiser as she hopes to pursue her dream of studying at the London School of Musical Theatre
Molli-Ann O’Halloran has created a fundraising campaign calling for support as she has secured a place in the highly competitive London School of Musical Theatre, set to begin in September 2026.
A talented singer and former Limerick Rose, Moli-Ann, says from as far back as she remembers, music has always been “where my heart lies”, and earlier this year, she took a chance and applied for the London School of Musical Theatre, and was shocked and elated to have been offered a space in the one-year programme, which she describes as a life-changing opportunity.
“To my shock and joy, I was offered a place on their prestigious one-year Musical Theatre course, beginning in September 2026,” Molli-Ann says on her GoFundMe page, adding, “This opportunity is truly life-changing. It will allow me to train with some of the most experienced and respected professionals in the industry, helping me grow as a performer and opening doors to a career I have dreamed of my entire life.”

Molli-Ann explains how the course is not eligible for Student Finance England support or through SUSI funding, leaving her responsible for the £17,500 tuition fees and living expenses, which she believes are approximately £400 per week.
Coming from a “working-class family”, the 21-year-old says the funding will land solely on her, saying, “Unfortunately, this course is not eligible for Student Finance England or SUSI support. This means I must cover the full tuition fees of £17,500, along with living expenses of approximately £400 per week, entirely on my own.
As part of the fundraiser, Molli-Ann has organised a fundraising night at Castletroy Park Hotel on Wednesday, June 17, promising a night of musical talent with tickets priced at €20 and available online.
“I am committed to doing everything I can to make this dream a reality. I am currently organising a fundraising night to celebrate and showcase the incredible talent in Limerick, and I will continue to seek every possible opportunity to raise funds. However, I know these efforts alone will not be enough to cover the full cost.”
Molli-Ann has used her talent and platform over the years to help give back locally, with fundraisers supporting charities such as NOVAS, and within the ASD and SEN communities, she said giving back is “something I hope to continue to do throughout my career”.
Making her call for support, Molli-Ann said, “It is with humility that I ask for your support. Any donation, no matter how small, would mean the world. If you are unable to donate, sharing my story would be just as appreciated.”
