A mix of business and pleasure is the name of the game with Morningstar Photography in February 2025 as the Limerick-based photography service run by award-winning photographer Shauna Kennedy launches a unique Valentine-themed pop-up in The Cresent Shopping Centre.

“As part of our collaboration with The Cresent Shopping Centre, I will be creating two unique spaces for photos from February 1st next,” said Shauna, when asked what the concept of the pop up would be.

One part will have a full studio based on Valentine’s and Galentine’s photos, where couples, friend groups, or families can book a slot and have some professional photos taken to remember February 2025. It will be a fun space where people can celebrate love in all its forms and come away with gorgeous pictures to remember their loved ones.

“We expect to see some fun and hilarious photos from this pop-up. We have a team making the space extremely insta- worthy full of props and fun backgrounds for Valentines themed photos,” said photographer and entrepreneur Shauna Kennedy.

The second part of the studio space in The Cresent’s City Mall will be set up for professional headshots. Here individuals can book a slot and have their headshots taken by professional photographer Shauna Kennedy, to be used for Linked In, CV’s or online applications. It is a much more professional space, conducive to getting the best shots of individuals.

“Everyone loves to have up-to-date photos and to come across as very professional on their online work presence,” says Kennedy. “This way people can taste how a professional headshot session would be, get some great shots, and do this very efficiently. Saving time and money,” she said.

The unique pop-up is the brainchild of Shauna Kennedy, award-winning photographer from Ballyneety Co. Limerick who runs Morning Star Photography. She has a wealth of experience in portrait photography and a keen interest in many art forms.

Slots will be available from Feb 1 to Feb 16 for either studio and prices for photos start at €120 for three retouched images.  With Eventbrite charges included the total cost is €130.  The photos will be delivered by email following editing after the photoshoot. Shoots will be 30mins long and up to 6 people can take part.
