“Panto For All” is a heartwarming fundraising initiative by UCH, and producer Robert C Kelly in collaboration with Specsavers Limerick. The campaign aims to offer disadvantaged children and families from the Midwest region the chance to attend this year’s Specsavers Limerick Panto, Mother Goose, for free! Supporters can donate any amount, big or small, to the “Panto For All” Campaign and these donations will be matched by UCH and Specsavers Limerick with the goal of bringing the magic of Panto to 500 additional children and families this year. The initiative is open to all charities, organisations, and groups supporting disadvantaged families.

Sinéad Hope, Director of the University Concert Hall, emphasised the importance of this initiative saying, “Now more than ever, we are keenly aware of families who may be struggling. Panto is one of our most popular shows of the year. In partnership with Robert C Kelly and our sponsors, Specsavers Limerick, we want to reach as many children and families within the Midwest as possible, especially around Christmas. To bring smiles to the faces of many, we are asking anyone who can afford it to donate whatever they can to the “Panto for All” Campaign. Simply log onto uch.ie for all the information, including how to register and how to donate.”

Producer Robert C. Kelly shared his excitement about the initiative: “We believe that everyone should have the chance to experience the joy and wonder of panto. Mother Goose is a story that brings so much laughter and happiness, and with the support of Specsavers Limerick, we are making it possible for more families to join us. This campaign is about giving back to the community and ensuring that the magic of panto reaches those who need it most.”

Specsavers Limerick: A Commitment to Community

“At Specsavers Limerick, we pride ourselves on being at the heart of the community, providing vital audio and visual healthcare services to a diverse clientele, from young children to senior citizens. Partnering with University Concert Hall’s pantomime is a perfect alignment with our values, as the panto has been bringing joy and festive magic to both the young and the young-at-heart since 2012. We are especially excited to support the “Panto for All Campaign”, which resonates deeply with our commitment to inclusivity and community spirit,” said Sinead Clohessy, Store Director at Specsavers Limerick.
