Mountain Biking At BallyHoura

Did you know that County Limerick is home to one of Europe’s top mountain bike trails? Yes, just outside Killmallock is Ballyhoura Mountain Bike Center. Spread over the mountains of South Limerick and North Cork are trails designed for both beginners and advanced mountain cyclists. The tracks are home to some spectacular scenery that really showcases the beauty of the Irish countryside.

The center is managed by Coilte and there is no charge for the using the trails. However there is a small charge of e5 for use of the car park and the money from this goes towards the upkeep of the park. Shower facilities are available on site as well as tea and coffee. You can also rent bikes on site or in the nearby town of Killmallock.
