UL Bohemian RFC are calling on the public to get moving for Milford and UL Bohs by taking part in their Moveathon from April 1 to 8

UL Bohemian RFC and Milford Care Centre are joining together, calling on the public to take part in their Moveathon from April 1 to 8, calling for supporters to #Move4MilfordAndULB.
The Moveathon will see individuals across Limerick and beyond organising events to get people moving and raising funds for the two groups, with organisers saying various adult and underage groups are organising events such as Crossfit, Golfing, Hiking, Touch Rugby, and 5k running, to name a few.
They have also noted the fundraiser is open to underage teams who will come up with activities to raise funds, supported by their parents and guardians.
As well as events taking place locally in Limerick, UL Bohs have called on the Limerick diaspora to take part no matter where they are by sharing their activity from landmakrs in their locality.
Milford Care Centre is committed to delivering exceptional, person-centred care to those who need it most. The generous support of the community enables Milford Care Centre to continuously improve their specialised facilities and services, ensuring the highest standard of care for patients and their families. As people live longer with more complex healthcare needs, they must continue to evolve. This means expanding the specialised services and making care more accessible, particularly within local communities.
UL Bohemian RFC is a rugby club affiliated with the University of Limerick, known as the “Red Robins”. The club is based in Annacotty/Casteltroy, Limerick, and prides itself on its inclusive culture that runs teams from Under-6 to their 6 adults teams that includes the current Women’s All Ireland League champions and a senior men’s team who complete in the second division of the All Ireland League.
The club is known for its outreach work in raising funds for local charities, with recent events including a “Dance like nobody’s watching” event to raise funds for Green Ribbon month, and their third annual 6 Nations Preview Breakfast Fundraiser, which supported Down Syndrome Limerick.
Those hoping to take part can do so by following the #Move4MilfordAndULB hashtag or donating through iDonate.
