The year is 1969 and two unemployed actor friends take a trip to the countryside in search of a much needed break from their chaotic lifestyle. Unfortunately things go from bad to worse in the country as Withnail (Richard E. Grant) and “I”(Paul McGann)’s friendship begins to dwindle, mirroring the decline of the hippie era. Come and have a glass of the “finest wine available to humanity” at this hilarious black comedy, and indulge in the famous drink- along game at your own risk!

Once there, he ends up leading the repressed teenagers into a rebellion against the town fathers, who have outlawed rock music and dancing.
