Over 80 businesses participated in the Munster SME Business Summit which took place in Limerick Racecourse last week.
The event, which included high profile keynote speakers such as prominent economist Constantin Gurdgiev, UK-based leadership expert Paul Bridle and Google’s Director of Sales for SMEs Serena Lawless, was held in association with Vodafone Ireland.
Vodafone hosted Smart Business Network sessions, which saw experts on digital marketing lead 30-minute speed networking sessions.
The event gave those who attended an opportunity to build new relationships, network and do business amongst SMEs and its supporters. Munster Business Summit 2014 featured educational workshops on topics such as selling products online, customer focus and social enterprise, knowledge seminars and networking opportunities for attendees and exhibitors.
Organiser Elaine Carroll and her team said that they were very happy with the event and said that plans were already underway for the 2015 summit.
A crew from Irish TV (sky channel 191) filmed at Munster SME Business Summit for their show County Matters, which is due to air on the channel in the coming week.
The summit was the largest event of its kind for small to medium enterprises and saw exhibitors from a wide range of sectors across two floors as well as 25 educational workshops which took place throughout the day on topics such as I Have a Business Idea – Now Where Do I go?, ‘Live Your Brand’ which focused on how to build brands with passion, purpose and personality Internationalisation – it’s not just for large firms Employee Motivation and Conflict Resolution as well as Vodafone Smart Business Network digital mentoring sessions.
