Music Generation Limerick Summer Workshops

Published

on

Music Generation Limerick summer workshops are coming to a corner of the city near you this June and July. Over the course of seven weeks, there will be seven workshops done in seven different locations across Limerick.

Limerick Youth Service and Music Generation are teaming up to offer workshops for young people (13-18 yrs) to learn and play music. The aim of this programme is to give young people the confidence to express themselves, to be part of a community and share music.

The 3 days programme is inclusive to any participant of any or no music experience. Each week will be a standalone project, so participants can come along to one, some, or all of them.  The teaching format will be the same for each workshop.

Music Generation Limerick summer Workshops will teach participants about song-writing, playing instruments, vocal skills and will even get to record their own song. Participants in the workshops will also take part in a Junior Leadership programme. This will focus on self-confidence, team building, mental wellbeing and leadership skills.
