Music Hub Studios Launch

The Official Launch of Music Hub Studios as a commercial enterprise took place on Saturday May 25 and what better way to do it than with a mini music festival.  Music Hub Studios, located on the grounds of Learning Hub Limerick in Kileely House, Thomondgate, Limerick, is the city’s newest recording and rehearsal facility and offers musicians a relaxed and creative environment where they can work on their music projects at very reasonable and affordable prices and it is just 10 minutes from Limerick’s city centre and 5 minutes from Thomond Park.  The aim of the studio is to aid artist’s development by offering a creative atmosphere where established and up and coming musicians/recording artists can work on their latest musical projects. They are also given the opportunity to take part in the many events and competitions, which take place at the facility all year round. These events offer musicians and recording artists an excellent chance to showcase their talents and gain invaluable experience performing and recording. The studio also offers its services to the community and voluntary sector at subsidised rates. The public were invited to a day-long event which will celebrate the wide variety amongst the best of local Limerick talent, musical performances, face-painting, graffiti, break dancing, music workshops, fire breathers and jugglers. Guests included incredible 14 year old singer/songwriter Leah Melling, Windings, Leading Armies, Purple Earth Theory, very special guest singer/composer and songwriter Julie Feeney.
