MyMind Centre for Mental Well-being and LetsPrint.ie have teamed up to empower others to take their own positive step towards positive mental health.

This partnership has grown from a mutual belief that everyone has the right to access mental health support when they need it, to help resolve issues, develop coping skills and enjoy life to the fullest.

Working together to make vital mental health services within everyone’s reach, printing company LetsPrint.ie is aiming to provide 500 free therapy sessions at MyMind in 2015.

This means that someone who has been struggling with issues such as depression, anxiety, stress or bereavement, can get the support they need, but could not previously afford.

MyMind was founded in 2006 by ex-Googler Krystian Fikert as a not-for-profit provider of accessible mental health care. MyMind has Dublin, Cork and Limerick centres, providing counselling, well-being and psychotherapy services either online, face to face or in the workplace.

MyMind charges are based upon employment status, allowing the unemployed or full time students to access services at vastly reduced rates. In addition, revenue generated from full fee clients is reinvested, enabling MyMind to provide affordable services to all. New clients may self-refer and appointments are usually made within 72 hours of contact.

MyMind CEO Krystian Fikert said, “Getting support early and quickly can avoid more serious problems developing in the long term. Our partnership with LetsPrint.ie is making this possible, and opening a door that has been closed to too many people.”

Operations Manager of LetsPrint.ie, James McManus, said, “Mental Health is everyone’s business, and we wanted to make it part of our business in the realest way possible.”

“We at LetsPrint.ie believe that everyone should have access to the support they need if they are going through a tough time, and by providing free therapy services, we are helping to break down the barriers that stand in the way.”

“This way, we are also empowering our own clients to directly make a significant difference to people’s lives,” said James.

MyMind has impacted on more than 20,000 lives in Ireland to date, and with support from LetsPrint.ie, can continue to reach more people with fast, affordable and quality mental health services in the heart of the community.
