The bingo will run every Sunday throughout the winter months and is suited to both new and seasoned players.

Newcastle West GAA have launched a fundraising weekly online Bingo to run throughout the winter months which started on Sunday, September 5, and will run every Sunday for the forseeable.

The proceeds from the Bingo nights will go towards their plans for a new, state-of-the-art clubhouse, which will cater for future Newcastle West GAA members. The plans for the clubhouse can be seen in the YouTube video above.

Margaret Hannan, Chairperson, of Newcastle West GAA, said that the West Limerick Bingo is, “geared to suit families with children as well as the seasoned bingo players and is run in just one hour on Sunday nights at 7pm to make it an ideal family night.”

The club reported that the online bingo has already generated huge interest and sale of Bingo sheets has exceeded all expectations. There have been purchasers from several other counties also, with over 200 players who had signed up for the night.

A family can play from as little as €8 a session and there are lots of prizes each week.  Players receive their Bingo cards and a Zoom invite by email and then play for €40 for a line, €80 for 2 lines and €150 for a full house as well as lucky dip prizes between games and a fantastic Snowball Jackpot.

The Snowball for the coming week will be an additional €150 and will grow by €50 each week until it is won.

To enter the Bingo, players must enter on Sunday by 5pm. Any entries after 5pm will be assigned bingo sheets for the following Sunday.
