If you don’t have your mother to share Mother’s Day with this Sunday why not join The Wild Geeze on their Instagram account for an IG Live event ‘No Mother’s Tae’, where Miss Lavelle, our local limerick cabaret host and hilarious Dublin burlesque artist Eire May chat about what life is like without their mum’s and how Mother’s Day feels to them.

Miss Lavelle is one half of a comedy duo with farmer comedian Breda Larkin called The Wild Geeze. We recently wrote about their new podcast series ‘Good Grief’ by The Wild Geeze, where the girls infuse their combined experience of loss and trauma with humour and singing to create a hilarious and comforting listen.

Miss Lavelle sadly lost her mum to pancreatic cancer not so long ago and wants to share a relatable rant and coping techniques with you the tea attendee along with Eire May this Sunday, March 14.

This is a free event open to all, the girls only ask for you to give them a follow and give their podcast a listen or share it with whoever may need a comforting laugh through their loss right now.   No Mothers Tae

If you want to ask the girls any questions or suggest topics/issues you would like to hear them discuss around your grief, please do not hesitate to get in touch at [email protected]

So, polish off your best tea set and join Miss Lavelle Eire May for tae and chats on the Wild Geeze Instagram account, IG Live, 2:30 pm Sunday, March 14th  No Mothers Tae

About the Wide Geeze Podcast:

The Wild Geeze podcast is the brainchild of burlesque chanteuse Miss Lavelle and comedic farming activist Breda Larkin. On this podcast the girls are documenting the wild women of Ireland, singing about vaginas and politics and sharing their experience of grief with their new series ‘Good Grief’.

In the podcast, the girls share coping techniques and stories of their wild grieving process to empathise with the listener. No topic is off-limits and no grief stone is left unturned. Breda also opens up about tragically losing her best friend Mary to Cystic Fibrosis and Laura about losing her mother to pancreatic cancer and of recently, her childhood pet. When it comes to multitudes of grief, the girls have it covered, but just like everything else in the world, grief and trauma are unique to the individual so there is always room to explore and discuss.

If you or a loved one has experienced grief or has been recently bereaved then we suggest giving these two lovable lunatics a listen. You may learn a new coping strategy or just have a well-deserved laugh.

The Wild Geeze, “Good Grief” Podcast series, can be found by searching ‘The Wild Geeze Podcast’ on Spotify where you don’t need an account to listen or on the website ‘Buzzsprout’.
