Over the June Bank Holiday, ninety cyclists and a support crew will be setting off from the Northern Trust office in Ballysimon in Limerick and cycling to the Northern Trust Office in London!
The total distance of the cycle is over 650km with just five days to complete it, as they leave on Thursday, June 1, and arrive in London on Monday, June 5.
Nine of the cyclists taking part are based in Limerick. All monies raised from their fundraising will be donated to the Milford Care Centre in Limerick.
Those cycling from Dublin are putting the funds they raise to the Make a Wish Foundation.
The group wish to clarify that none of the monies that have been raised through the fundraising is going to the cyclists’ costs to do the cycle. Accommodation, the ferry, the flight back and food are all being borne by the cyclists themselves. All money that is raised is going straight to the charity.
