The Northside Misfits are entering their twelfth year with their self-penned play entitled All Rise!

Due to popular demand, the Northside Misfits return with their self-penned play entitled All Rise! In true Sherlock Holmes style, the Northside Misfits bring their unique voice to comment in this rocking comedy drama at the Belltable on April 29 & 30!

Marilyn Begley is on trial for the murder of her husband. She insists he died in his sleep but the body of evidence claims otherwise. As the case builds and witnesses emerge from the woodwork, the case is heavily stacked against her. Can the defence prove her innocence or will the prosecution take her down? Fast-paced and side-splittingly funny, a courtroom drama you do not want to miss. Performed in the usual Misfits style of raucous brazenness, expect plenty of frazzled witnesses and illegal activity in this bumper of a show.

The Nortnhside Misfits are celebrating their 12th anniversary with All Rise. It has been a very busy few years for the Misfits since their inauguration, with their previous plays selling out in the Belltable and the Northside Youth Space, and an invitation to Manchester by ‘Walk The Plank’ street theatre company for the Manchester Day Parade.

The process of creative writing with a group of actors through devising can be powerful and thought provoking. We start with a seed of an idea and work from there, building characters and developing plots to move the story forward. Through writing theatre and film, we as a community drama group, have evolved extensively from when we first began because of the passion emulating from the group.

More recently the Misfits shot the short film Memories in a Suitcase written by member Marion Fenton along with a pilot for TV, What About Me.

‘All Rise’ premieres for two nights at the ‘The Belltable’, on the 29th and 30th of April 2026.  Tickets priced at €12 are available at Belltable/Lime Tree Box office.
