Olympic Evening – The return of Special Olympics Ireland Games to Limerick in 2014 was toasted at “An Olympic Evening” in the Cornstore Restaurant, Thomas Street on September twenty-fifth. All proceeds from the night will go towards supporting Special Olympics Munster at the 2014 Special Olympics Ireland Games.

Olympic EveningThe return of Special Olympics Ireland Games to Limerick in 2014 was toasted at “An Olympic Evening” in the Cornstore Restaurant, Thomas Street on September twenty-fifth. Sporting heroes representing rugby, soccer, GAA, horse racing and more joined with local Special Olympic athletes at the three-course gourmet meal which included wine, musical entertainment and an auction with David Wallace as MC, and Keith Wood as guest speaker. All proceeds from the night will go towards supporting Special Olympics Munster at the 2014 Special Olympics Ireland Games. 1,500 athletes, 500 coaches along with 5,500 volunteers and family members will descend on Limerick for the Games, which start on June twelfth 2014 for four days.
