Omnicon will be taking place at the Killmurray Lodge Hotel on October 21.

This panel will cover various cosplayers’ processes from character selection to creation. They will talk about what they think are the cosplay essentials and what tools you will likely need. They will also answer any questions you might have about cosplay.

If cosplay is not your thing, have no fear as there will a wide range of other activities set up at Omnicon 2017. Peruse through the trader and artist area, chill out at the board game library and come and say hello to Red Frog Gaming and Saturday’s Child Cosplay who will be in attendance.

Fury VR, Ireland’s first virtual reality arcade based in Limerick, will also be at Omncion 2017 so if you haven’t tried VR yet don’t miss this opportunity to do so.

Come along and get your photo taken with the Emerald Garrison, Ireland’s premier Star Wars costuming club or sit in at the Japanese Workshop and learn some fun phrases.

There also will be a ‘speed-gaming’ activity which is a fantastic way of meeting people and getting to try out some great games at the same time.

Tickets are only €10 and can be bought through Omnicon’s website. Children under 12 have free entry when accompanied by an Adult ticket holder. Cosplay/Costumes are welcome and lots of prizes will be available on the day.
