The line-up includes – The Nilz, Audible Joe’s, The Turn, Dirty Casuals, No Collusion, New Age Messiah, Miss Fragile, The Lord Reverend Mongo Joans and The Coathanger Solution and Death By Washboard.

Paranoid Visions originally formed in 1982, before breaking up in 1992. Sporadic reunions saw them play support slots for The Sex Pistols and the Damned’s 25th anniversary in 2001.
The band reformed for good in 2005 and has been going strong since. This is the first time the band has played Limerick since their storied Savoy show in 1991, a gig that was immortalised in the release of their album “Live in Stab City”.
The band have been going through a prolific period, releasing several studio albums, delving back into their archive for further releases and playing large festivals internationally.
They have also been collaborating with an extensive roster of seminal punk artists along the way; Steve Ignorant (CRASS), Cravats, Rubella Ballet and TV Smith (The Adverts) to name a few.
It’s the second Overdose festival to be hosted by Costello’s Milk Market Bar, which has been organised by hometown heroes, The Turn.
Sadly, The Turn will play their last live show on the day. The Turn exploded onto the scene back in 2016 with their well-received Rough E.P. and have played unforgettable shows in the city.
As well as some blistering and memorable shows right across the country, their performance at the GGI festival in Carlow a few years back cementing their arrival.
Joining them on the day are The Nilz, a Punk Rock band from Dublin. Formed in 2015 by Eddie Nil (formerly of Mongohorn) their sound has been described as somewhere between classic punk and American Hardcore, with some glam-punk thrown into the mix.

Their 3 E.P.s have been critically lauded, and their stage show is an experience to behold, an assault on all the senses, one reviewer describing it as “Turbonegro on Speed”.
This is their first Limerick show, and they promise to shake the foundations of the Treaty city. Also, on the bill are Cork band Audible Joes, who have been going since 2010. Their American influenced melodic punk rock taking their cue from bands like Rancid, NOFX and Bad Religion.
Over the last few years, they’ve released two well-received albums and have had a plethora of high-profile support slots, The Damned, Runnin’ Riot and Lars Frederikens’s Old Firm Casuals.
The acoustic folk/punk duo Death By Washboard is the first act on at 1 pm, so get in early! This is an unmissable event for punk fans everywhere. Food stalls are abundant at the Saturday market, and an ample variety of choice eateries near the venue to ensure you can last the pace.
