The Parsley Collective celebrate the end of their term as Dance-Artists-in-Residence at Dance Limerick with a gathering on Thursday, March 12
The gathering will take place at Dance Limerick Performance Space, in St John’s Church (John’s Square) on Thursday, March 12.

Since being awarded Limerick Dance Artists in Residence for 2025/26, the Parseley Collective has been further developing their improvisational movement research, using their individual and collective expertise and the strong connections developed over years with arts and culture organisations and wider communities to increase awareness and participation in dance in Limerick.

During this time, they have enjoyed residency periods at Dance Limerick, Ormston House and the Limeirck City Gallery of Art, and they have had the opportunity to present their work through different public performances, workshops and other events.

As their residency comes to an end, the Collective is inviting audiences in Limerick to join them in a celebration of this fruitful year of research through an afternoon of shared movement, discussion and reflection.

The gathering will take place at Dance Limerick Performance Space, in St John’s Church (John’s Square) on Thursday, March 12, and will comprise a series of events that are open to all members of the public.

Among these will be an open workshop from 2 to 3 pm, where people are invited to join the five dancers and trying out their own brand of movement practise called ‘zer(0)ing’. No experience is necessary and anyone over 18 is welcome.

Audiences will also have the opportunity to enjoy discussions with Michael Kelly, director of the Ralahine Centre for Utopian Studies, dance artist Joan Davis and Dance Limerick director Mary Wycherley, around utopia, intentional communities and other questions that have emerged out the research.

We are delighted to welcome back dance artists Roberta Ceginskaite, Aoibhín O’Dea, Grace Cuny, Justine Cooper and Rebecca Reilly for a performance triple bill which will end with a final offering by The Parsley Collective and guests that will join them for a dance jam! Pay What You Can tickets are available at through the Dance Limerick website.
