Past Ardscoil Mhuire staff and students invited back for special relocation event
Past staff and students are invited back for one last look around Ardscoil Mhuire school building on Saturday, 17th of May

Ardscoil Mhuire, Corbally, Limerick has been serving its community for nearly a century. While it was initially located in Bishop Street, the school relocated to its current location in Corbally in 1977.
Ardscoil Mhuire has a very long and established history of fostering academic excellence and nurturing the holistic development of all those in its care. The Ardscoil Mhuire school community is one which spans many decades and comprises people from far and wide.
The school is now about to embark on another major adventure, as the current school will be relocating to temporary accommodation over the summer break. The existing buildings will be demolished and replaced by a multimillion euro state of the art school campus.
Prior to this demolition taking place, Ardscoil Mhuire would like to take this opportunity to welcome back its extensive school community, past and present – trustees, staff, students, parents and members of the local community.
The opening up of the school to this wonderful community will afford everyone the chance to walk down memory lane, share our memories, and catch up with friends from the past and present.
Ms Bríd Herbert, Principal, adds, “As a past student, now Principal, I’m lucky to have daily reminders of my time as part of this wonderful school community. Therefore, I’m proud to open up our current school building, one last time, for those who wish to join us in reflecting on their own treasured school memories.”
The school will be open to the community from 12.00 pm to 3.00 pm on Saturday the 17th of May 2025, with organisers saying, “We would love to see you there.”
