The Belltable is thrilled to host three powerful nights of Pat Kinevane’s globally acclaimed work in Limerick City. This special trilogy of Forgotten, Underneath, and Silent showcase his unique blend of compassion, dark humour, and theatrical daring.

The three works have earned Kinevane outstanding critical and audience response from Edinburgh to Broadway to Adelaide. This special three-night run offers the people of Limerick a chance to see ‘Forgetten’, ‘Underneath’, and ‘Silent’ in the intimate Belltable setting.

Forgotten, on Thursday, February 12, as with all three shows is written and performed by Pat Kinevane and directed by Jim Culleton. Forgotten offers a unique collage of Kabuki dance and Irish storytelling, Forgotten has been a huge international success for Fishamble during the past decade. It is a captivating portrayal of four elderly characters living in retirement homes around Ireland. Pat Kinevane’s haunting performance brings to life these sometimes forgotten voices of society.

Underneath, showing on Friday, February 13, this stunning play is a blackly comic, rich and vivid tale of a life lived in secret, a testament to the people who live on the fringes, under the nose of everyday life. It explores the surface and what lies underneath.

Capping off the trio of shows, ‘Silent’, on Saturday, February 14, is the touching and challenging story of homeless McGoldrig, who once had splendid things. But he has lost it all – including his mind. He now dives into the wonderful wounds of his past through the romantic world of Rudolph Valentino. Dare to laugh at despair and gasp at redemption in this brave, bleak, beautiful production for which Fishamble and Pat Kinevane won an Olivier Award in 2016.

Belltable is offering a special ticket bundle deal: buy 2 unique Fishamble shows and get €5 off. This discount works on the Standard €20 ticket only. Automatically applied at checkout. Showtimes run each night from 8 pm with tickets available for €20 and €18 concession, available to purchase online.
