Limerick Pride Podcast will be returning to Spotify Sunday, June 26 for season 2 following the success of season 1.

The Limerick Pride Podcast will bring LGBTQI+ stories to the forefront

The podcast is a storytelling podcast that sheds some light on many LGBTQI+ topics that aren’t particularly talked about.

Limerick Pride Podcast will be returning to Spotify Sunday, June 26 for season 2 following the success of season 1!

There was a huge positive response to season 1 and listeners will be very excited to hear that the beloved podcast will return this June and will be easily accessed through the Spotify platform.

The podcast will bring LGBTQI+ stories to the forefront, which listeners found particularly great last year that it was so accessible and loved the feeling of being able to be a part of Pride from home.

Listeners will be excited to hear that member of the pride committee Ronan Dunne will return to the mic again to discuss all things LGBTQ+.

The podcast will take place weekly and consist of a different topic each time, season 1 saw Ronan discuss topics such as ‘#StillNotEqual,’ ‘Being Gay isn’t a Sin,’ and ‘It’s Hard being Gay.’

The podcast is a storytelling podcast that sheds some light on many LGBTQI+ topics that aren’t particularly talked about.

The podcast brings together people of all ages and backgrounds with unique stories from raising an LGBTQI+ child and growing up gay in the traveller community to Queer Culture.

It is a unique platform that has not been done in the city before with hard-hitting, raw, honest, and frank discussions to be heard in Limerick’s own LGBTQI+ community.

The podcast will give people the chance for their voices to be heard and highlight issues the LGBTQI+ community face today.

Limerick Pride is the first Pride in the country to do a podcast and Limerick City Community Radio has kindly sponsored the podcast and offered one of their studios to record the podcast series.

It is a great way to hear some LGBTQI+ experiences and stories and the Limerick Pride Committee is delighted to be able to bring season 2 to listeners!
